What is the Grassroots Cricket Fund?

The Grassroots Cricket Fund (GCF) was established in 2019 by Australia’s professional cricketers to strengthen grassroots cricket for generations to come. The GCF ensures the cricket clubs throughout Australia gets the investment it needs to support those who help drive grassroots cricket and bring communities together.

The GCF is a partnership of the Australian Cricketers’ Association and Cricket Australia, working to together to help drive this vital program and grow grassroots cricket.

The Community Grants Program aims to empower clubs like yours to excel in promoting cricket within your local communities. enhance community club experiences, and ensure clubs remain vital hubs for local connection and development.

Mt Eliza Cricket Club has experienced significant growth in its junior girls' cricket programs over the past few seasons. As proud recipients of Grassroots Cricket Fund (GCF) grants, and with the support of the Australian Cricketers’ Association (ACA) and Cricket Australia (CA), the club has expanded opportunities, boosted participation, and fostered a thriving one-club mentality.

The grants have enabled the club to equip their girls’ teams with brand-new uniforms and gear, ensuring players feel confident, protected, and comfortable on the field.
