Australian cricket's vision is to be a sport for all that makes Australians proud. These guidelines show clubs how to welcome transgender and gender-diverse players and create competitions that are safe, fair and inclusive.
Core Principles
- Inclusive Participation - Players may register and compete in community cricket in line with their affirmed gender identity.
- No Medical Tests - Clubs must never ask for medical or hormone evidence
- Privacy and Respect - Collect only the information you truly need and handle it confidentially.
- Safe Environments - Bullying, harassment and discrimination are prohibited under Australian Cricket's existing integrity policies
- Education First - Promote correct pronoun use, run awareness sessions and display visible signs of inclusion.
