At Cricket Australia, we understand that sometimes you may need to request a refund for the Registration Fees paid for a Participant’s involvement in a Program. This policy applies only to Registration Fees and not the cost of the Cricket Australia portion.
When Are You Eligible for a Refund?
We will provide refunds only in the following situations:
- The program is cancelled due to reasons beyond your control (e.g., change of date, weather, major event, pandemic, natural disaster, etc.).
- A medical condition prevents the Participant from continuing in the Program (Doctor’s Certificate required).
- There was a system duplicate error.
- There was a user error (e.g., incorrect registration, duplicate registration).
If your situation does not fall under these categories, we will not be able to issue a refund.
How Are Vouchers Handled?
- If you used a government sports voucher, you must request a refund through the relevant government agency, as Cricket Australia cannot provide refunds for these vouchers.
- If you used a Club or State Cricket Association voucher, any refund will be given to the provider of the voucher (i.e., the relevant Club or State Cricket Association), and they will decide if you are eligible for a replacement voucher.
Refund Conditions
- Refunds will not include any additional fees or charges (e.g., service/delivery fee, merchant charges, bank charges, or other foreign exchange charges).
- No interest or costs will be paid on any refunded amounts.
- Refunds will be processed within 15 business days to the bank account you provide on the refund form.
