Gillespie earlier this year made his men's International umpiring debut when Australia played the West Indies in the Dettol T20 International series in Queensland and has recently returned from T20 International matches in Fiji. Gillespie has also fulfilled a full Australian Domestic schedule officiating across the Marsh Sheffield Shield and One Day Cup, together with KFC BBL12 appointments. Gillespie will be joined on-field by Victorian State & Territory Umpire Panel member Daryl Brigham who himself has stood in CA competitions through the summer. Brigham was appointed to the CA Under 19 Male National Championships in Adelaide where he stood in the Semi-Final. In addition to his Premier Cricket appointments, Brigham stood in Weber WBBL, WNCL and Toyota Second XI matches.
