Women’s T20 World Cup Final

Cricket Australia (CA) and International Cricket Council (ICC) International Development Umpire panelist Claire Polosak was appointed to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Final in Dubai.

Polosak had an outstanding tournament which resulted in first being appointed to the Semi-Final between New Zealand and the West Indies, then the Final between New Zealand and South Africa at the Dubai City Sports Stadium. Sri Lankan Nimali Perera joined Polosak on-field with Anna Harris (England) and Jacquline Williams (West Indies) making up the umpiring Team. ICC Match Referee GS Lakshmi (India) oversaw proceedings which saw New Zealand win their first Women’s T20 World Cup.

Fellow Australian umpire Eloise Sheridan capped a great tournament by being appointed to the Semi-Final between New Zealand and the West Indies as TV Umpire.
