• How do I find my nearest Woolworths Cricket Blast Program?

• When do registrations open?

  Registrations for the 2025/26 Woolworths Cricket Blast season are now open.  

  Use our Program Finder to find a program near you.

• What days and times do Cricket Blast program run?

  Program days and times vary depending on the type of program and your State/Territory. There are plenty of options available, with sessions offered across different days and time slots. Use the Program Finder to find one that suits your schedule. 

• Can my child try a free session?

  Yes! We offer a free Come & Try session (subject to centre capacity). Please speak to the Centre Coordinator before the session and confirm your attendance. You may be asked to register your contact details. 

  Note: Your child will not receive a benefits pack until full registration and payment are completed. 
  

• What’s included in the Cricket Blast Pack?

  Each registered participant receives a Cricket Blast Pack (we currently offer three types of packs), which may include a Cricket Blast hat, personalised shirt in Big Bash colours, and other fun goodies.

  Additional products can be purchased via the Cricket Blast Shop.  

• How do I prepare for my child’s first Cricket Blast session?

  Sessions are usually outdoors, so remember to slip, slop, slap to be sun smart and bring a water bottle. Your child should wear their Cricket Blast shirt, bucket hat, and active shoes.

• Are there activities we can do at home?

  Yes! Check out our Anywhere Blast program for fun, game-based cricket activities you can do with your child anytime. 

• How can parents and carers get involved?

  Woolworths Cricket Blast is the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with your kids, and you might even learn some new cricket skills along the way. Plus, getting you involved can make a positive impact on their enjoyment, skill progression and overall achievement. So, what are you waiting for? Let's get in the game and score some runs together!

  Parents and carers can get involved in lots of simple, fun ways:

  • Before sessions: Help set up equipment, sign kids in, or join a volunteer roster.
  • During sessions: Assist with warm-ups, run drills, or cheer from the sidelines.
  • No experience needed: The program is designed for family involvement, so you can learn alongside your child.
  • Why it matters: Your support helps create a positive, community-focused environment and makes the experience more enjoyable for everyone.

  Become a Cricket Blast Coordinator

  Clubs are always looking for enthusiastic people to lead Woolworths Cricket Blast sessions, and many parents and carers decide to get involved. 

  You don’t need to be a cricket expert - just someone who enjoys working with kids and creating a fun, inclusive environment. You're provided with training and resources, including session plans and the Cricket Blast Coordinator Guide, so you’ll feel supported every step of the way.

  It's also a great way to get started on a coaching journey if you'd like to volunteer in community sport.
