SJCC is a not-for-profit club run by volunteers that provides junior cricket programs for girls and boys aged 5 to 17 years and pathways into adult cricket.
We field teams in the Brisbane Metropolitan South West, winter Warehouse and Qld Sub Districts Cricket competitions. We also provide the Woolworths Cricket Blast programs for 5 to 10 year-olds.
We place a strong emphasis on participation, skills development, fair play, respect for others and above all, enjoyment of the game of cricket.

School Holiday Program

Anywhere Cricket Blast is a FREE program that has been designed to keep kids engaged and involved in cricket during these challenging COVID times. 

&lt;ul&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;A flexible&amp;nbsp;program that can be participated from anywhere&amp;nbsp;and with little to no cricket equipment.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;6 x 20min pre-recorded interactive skill sessions, covering catching, batting and bowling.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Weekly challenges&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Blasters can participate on their own along with the video content, or with a parent/guardian&amp;rsquo;s assistance&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

Anywhere Blast (online course)

Come and try your hand at cricket with our accelerated 4-week introductory program – offering the best of Woolworths Cricket Blast, come and experience all the fun and excitement.

    &lt;li&gt;Pop-Up Blast program provides kids with the opportunity to come and sample Woolworths Cricket Blast. &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;This 4-week introductory program offers components of Junior and Master Blaster, allowing your child to see which program is most suitable for their age and skill level. &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Activities and games will vary dependent on participant numbers, but everyone will get a chance to play, learn and make new friends.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;

Pop-up Blast

For kids new to cricket, to learn the skills to play cricket through fun game based activities .

For boys and girls ready to progress from Junior Blasters and ready to play short games of cricket in a fun and social setting

Master Blasters

Play organised games of cricket at your local clubs and make new friends! Fun, active and plenty of opportunities to develop your skills.
