National Clubroom Series 2023
The National Clubroom Series is back in 2023! A range of live online events will feature ideas and tips for volunteers to grow and sustain cricket in their communities.
This year there is a focus on growing the game for 5-12s while ensuring cricket clubs are safe places, where everyone feels they belong.
The National Clubroom Series is designed to help all club committees, coaches, umpires and parents involved in community cricket across Australia.

The Transformative Impact of Cricket Blast

Let’s imagine the fun! Cricket Blast is the main way children aged 5-12 are introduced to organised cricket and inspired to love and connect with the game for life. The program has transformative powers – building the confidence, skills and social connection of children and parents! In this session, learn about the amazing impact of Cricket Blast and how your club can use it to engage families in your neighbourhood.
Ride the Livestreaming Revolution with Frogbox

Livestreaming connects your matches to family members, past players, sponsors and the local community. In this session, learn about the opportunities to grow your club’s profile through Frogbox – a tool to capture, produce and broadcast your matches. The session will also include important information on the safe use of livestreaming products regarding child safety and corruption risks.
Barriers are Opportunities! How to Build Better Experiences for Girls and Women

Girls’ participation in cricket is booming thanks to increasing opportunities locally and greater visibility of W/BBL and international stars. At this session you will hear about some evidence-based challenges for gender equity in clubs, and take away ideas on how to shift them to opportunities so that girls and women feel inspired, safe and connected.
Is Your Club Inclusive of Cultural Diversity?

Cricket Australia’s SQUAD groups on Facebook are thriving communities of passionate cricket fans, connecting first- and second-generation migrants from countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and more. In this session, hear first-hand about the experiences of people with culturally diverse backgrounds seeking out and participating in cricket clubs, and what your club can do to provide a welcoming environment.
Making Your Club Child Safe

Child safeguarding is a complex topic that can create anxiety and uncertainty if not properly addressed. In this session, child safeguarding leads at Cricket Australia and Cricket NSW will provide practical tips to help address the relevant risks in cricket clubs, including highlighting resources available to simplify volunteer’s ability to recognise and report prohibited conduct.
Equipping Cricket Blast Coordinators for Success

Empowered Cricket Blast Coordinators are the key to delivering a fun, rewarding Cricket Blast Program to kids in your community. In this session, learn about the resources and support available for clubs to set up Cricket Blast Coordinators for success!
