Cricket Australia (CA) has released the Match Officials Appointments for the Weber WBBL|10 which commences this weekend in Adelaide.
CA Contracted Umpire Panellists together with several State & Territory Umpire Panel (STUP) members were appointed to form the Weber WBBL Servicing Panel. The panel which includes eight female umpires from around the country will fulfil on-field, TV and Fourth Umpire duties in the competitions historic tenth season. Overseeing Weber WBBL|10 will be members of the National Match Referee Panel (NRP) which includes three female Match Referees.
The tournament begins this weekend with the Adelaide Strikers hosting the Brisbane heat in a Weber WBBL|09 Grand Final rematch. Fresh from her ICC Women’s T20 World Cup which included appointment to the Semi-Final, Eloise Sheridan is appointed on-field together with Irish international player Mary Waldron who returns to Adelaide as a member of the State Umpire Panel. CA Contracted Umpire Drew Crozier will fulfill the TV umpiring duties whilst former Australian Test player Peter George is the appointed Fourth Umpire.
