Cricket Australia (CA) have announced the Match Officials team to oversee the upcoming CommBank Women’s Ashes Series between Australia and England.
International Cricket Council (ICC) International and CA Contracted Umpire Panel members Claire Polosak, Eloise Sheridan, Shawn Craig and Phil Gillespie, together with CA Contracted Umpire Panel members Ben Treloar, Roberto Howard and Sharad Patel have all been appointed to officiate in the seven-match series. ICC International Panel and Cricket Victoria State Umpire Panel member Lisa McCabe as also been appointed as a Fourth Umpire. The Series commences this weekend in Sydney with the first of three One Day Internationals before switching formats to the T20 Internationals. The Melbourne Cricket Ground will play host to the final match of the series, the historic Day/Night Test Match commencing on Thursday 30 January.
Overseeing the series will be ICC International Match Referee and CA National Match Referee Panel member Kent Hannam. Hannam will round out the series when he will make his Test Match debut at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
