The Queensland Premier Cricket Grand Finals concluded last week with the First-Grade decider being played out in a four-day match at Allan Border Field.
Cricket Australia (CA) Contracted Umpire Panel member Steve Dionysius and State & Territory Umpire Panel (STUP) member Riki Wessels were appointed to the First-Grade Grand Final between the Sunshine Coast and Northern Suburbs Cricket Clubs at Allan Border Field in Brisbane. Dionysius has just completed a full Australian domestic season standing in all major competitions this season including the Sheffield Sheild, One Day Cup, KFC BBL and Weber WBBL competitions. Wessels has also had a busy representative season standing in Weber WBBL, WNCL and Toyota Second XI matches. Wessels also officiated in the CA Under 19 Male National Championships where he was appointed to the Final in December.
