Victorian Cricket Umpire Awards

The Victorian Cricket Association Umpires & Scorers Association (VCAUSA) have announced their 2024/25 season awards at their recently held Annual Presentation night.

The prestigious Robin Bailhache Commitment Award went to long-time Victorian Premier Cricket Umpire Panel member Stephen Pitts for his fine contribution both on and off the field to cricket umpiring in Victoria. Cricket Victoria State & Territory Umpire Panel member Malcolm Wood won the Ray Isherwood Representative Umpire of the Year following an outstanding season. Wood was appointed to both the Under 19 Female and Under 17 Male National Championships where he stood on-field in both Finals. Wood also made his WNCL and Toyota Second XI debuts and was appointed Reserve Umpire in this season’s Victorian Premier Cricket First XI Final between St Kilda and Carlton at the Junction Oval.
