Australians Appointed to ICC Women’s World Cup

International Cricket Council (ICC) Emerging Umpires Group and Cricket Australia Contracted Umpire Panel members Claire Polosak and Eloise Sheridan have been appointed to the ICC Women’s World Cup being held in India and Sri Lanka.

Both umpires stood on-field for the Tournament Opener between India and Sri Lanka at ACA Guwahati. Polosak and Sheridan have been appointed on-field to four matches, with a further two appointments as TV Umpire and two as Fourth Umpire during the Preliminary rounds of the tournament. The preliminary rounds conclude with the match between India and Bangladesh in Mumbai on Sunday 26th October. The World Cup Final will take place on Sunday 2nd November with the venue to be confirmed.
