Cricket has changed and so is the Australian Cricket coach development framework.
Cricket has evolved rapidly over the past two decades, driven by new formats and modern approaches to playing. Coach development support, however, has not advanced at the same pace, until now.
Cricket Australia’s new framework offers a more holistic approach and includes core principles of coaching practice, player development, and learning environments.
The Summit
Over two days, participants will explore contemporary coaching methods that promote engagement, motivation, and player growth.
Sessions offer practical guidance on designing effective activities, strengthening skill development, and enhancing player understanding.
The learning experience is hands on, incorporating coaching labs, observation, feedback, and peer reflection. Before dividing into a junior and senior specialised streams.
