Nogajski Stands in India

Cricket Australia (CA) and International Cricket Council (ICC) Emerging Umpire Panel member Sam Nogajski was recently appointed to officiate in the One-Day International Series between India and the West Indies in India.

Nogajski has had a busy calendar year on the international front since the end of last summer. He was appointed to the Indian Premier League for the first time in April and followed that up with a white ball assignment in the United Kingdom featuring the touring Indian team. Nogajski travelled back to Australia to officiate in the Top-End series between Australia and Bangladesh, first standing in the Tour Match and then appointed as Fourth Umpire in the First Test at Mararra Stadium in Darwin.

Nogajski was appointed on-field in two of the three One Day Internationals which was won 2-1 by India. In a measure of his busy schedule, Nogajski is appointed to the opening Sheffield Shield match of the season between Victoria and South Australia at the Junction Oval starting on the 7th October.

Nogajski has now stood on field in 28 men’s One Day Internationals and has a further six appointments as TV Umpire.
