November Community Umpires of the Month

Cricket Australia would like to congratulate the November Community Umpires of the Month recipients.

For the second month in-a-row, each of the four categories are represented by someone who is contributing to their cricketing communities in a positive way.

Alex has been a driving force for cricket in South West communities, volunteering as umpire, player, and leader for decades. His passion, encouragement of juniors, and long-standing club presidencies have sustained and grown participation, making him an indispensable advocate for regional cricket.

Sandra has come on board as the Secretary this season. She has assisted with setting up a women’s umpiring program and is on top of all things cricket. She is a credit to the MPCUA and they thank her for all her assistance this season.

Sanjoy exemplifies excellence in umpiring through professionalism, fairness, and deep knowledge of the game. Calm under pressure and highly respected, he fosters integrity and positive spirit in every match. Sanjoy’s dedication has significantly elevated umpiring standards.

Mitchell is a dedicated second season umpire who is experienced in the rules of cricket and has umpired various representative carnivals, along with creating a positive and engaging environment, while also demonstrating high levels of professionalism and is a great role model for upcoming umpires.

Congratulations again to Alex, Sandra, Sanjoy and Mitchell for your contributions to cricket and your communities. December nominations are open, and you can submit here.
