Cricket Australia would like to congratulate the December Community Umpires of the Month recipients.
There are only 2 categories being represented for the month of December, but for the first time since the inception of this award, a recipient has been named from ACT!
Daryl Booth is a highly respected CTL umpire whose fairness, professionalism, and calm presence enhance every match. He supports players of all ages, mentors developing umpires, and promotes true sportsmanship. His dedication, reliability, and inclusive approach make him an invaluable contributor to community cricket and a deserving Best Community Umpire nominee.
At just 18, Taj already has three years of umpiring experience, progressing to NSWCUSA Panel 5 and officiating Premier Cricket. Appointed to the NSWYC U13 Gee Shield Final, he shows maturity, strong decision-making, and excellent knowledge, marking him as a talented young umpire with a bright future.
Congratulations again to Daryl and Taj for your contributions to cricket and your communities. January nominations are open, and you can submit here.
