Looking After our Kids in Senior Cricket

Australian Cricket is committed to ensure that everyone involved in our sport, including Children and Young People, have a positive and enriching sporting experience.

The ability of our young players can progress and develop at different rates. As young athletes progress and enter the adult sporting environment, it is important for the club and all participants to recognise they are still developing physically and mentally.

All club members must be aware of and uphold the requirements of the Australian Cricket Framework for Safeguarding Children and Young People (Framework) when young people are participating in senior competitions.

This ‘Looking After our Kids in Senior Cricket’ resource has been developed to provide practical and relevant advice, examples and actions to support clubs, associations and their members to ensure a safe cricketing environment for young cricketers.
